VAB acknowledged by Battalion/CN Community Ticket Program
The Brampton Battalion are going to face off against the Kingston Frontenacs this Thursday, February 5, at 7 pm.Why are we mentioning this? They play games all the time, what make this one special?
VAB has been recognised through the CN Community Ticket Program.
In the words of one of the sport club's interns, "This program provides 20 tickets to every Battalion home game to a not-for-profit organization that has an impact on the community of Brampton and surrounding areas."
We've distributed the tickets to board members, volunteers, and other members that have made a difference in VAB's operations as a community group. We thank CN and the Battalion for this recognition.

Art Gallery of Peel Juried Show form available
The form for the 36th Annual Art Gallery of Peel Juried Art Show is now online.
Entry fee is $12 for members of the Peel Heritage Complex, $15 for non-members; you can submit from March 23 to 29, 2009. Artists can submit one work, to make sure jurors are not overwhelmed. Artist Lyn Carter and Burlington Arts Centre's Director of Programs George Wale are adjudicating the show.
Interestingly, our group's president, Keith Moreau, is pictured on the back of the pamphlet. He's at the opening with his wife, who's turned the other way.
