Brampton - Brampton Library's 8th Annual Bookmark Contest kicks off on Monday, October 16. This year the contest has been expanded to include secondary school participants. Students are invited to design a bookmark based on this year's selected theme: "My Library Tells a Story."Entries of original artwork based on the contest theme will be accepted until November 5, 2006. One prize will be awarded in each of six categories: preschool to kindergarten; grades 1 to 3; grades 4 to 5; grades 6 to 8; grades 9 to 10; and grades 11 to 12. Winning designs will be printed and distributed to the public through all Brampton Library locations and will also be featured on the Library website.
Once the contest launches, entry forms can be picked up at any Library location or downloaded online at www.bramlib.on.ca.

Library bookmarks
VAB president Keith Moreau will be judging the Brampton Library system's bookmark competition in the near future. For the past eight years, Keith has participated in selecting which images are reproduced on free bookmarks, available to all library visitors.
