October is busy month for VAB

Visual Arts Brampton's October Artway exhibit is Overview, A Selection of 25 Works featuring art in coloured pencil, lino block prints, scratchboard, pen and ink, and airbrush by VAB president Keith Moreau. Artway is in the northwest corner of Shoppers World.
Moreau also runs open studio time at VAB, lower level, 1 Bartley Bull Pkwy. in Bartley's Square Mall. Each session costs $5 for non-members and run Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. Artists of all levels are welcome.
Moreau is also offering portfolio improvement sessions for Grade 8 students looking to be accepted into an arts school. Sessions runs Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. at VAB on Nov. 15, 22, 29, Dec. 6, Jan. 17, 24, 31 and Feb. 7. Cost is $40 for the eight sessions.
